One subsea cable, one DAS deployment, one SASE expansion, and one IoT M&A:
The Atlantic Ocean officially recently got a big new subsea cable up and running. According to Aqua Comms, Meta, Microsoft, and Vodafone, the Amitié cable has been completed. Built by Alcatel Submarine Networks, it connects Lynn MA with Widemouth Bay in England and Le Porge in France. It has 16 fiber pairs and an initial designed capacity of up to 400Tbps.
