CenturyLink is building out some new metro fiber in Tennessee. They are investing in a new 59-mile fiber ring to hook up Collierville, which lies southeast of Memphis. The new fiber will reach across the border to Olive Branch, Mississippi and will touch the new I-69 corridor. CenturyLink plans to hook up some 600 on-net buildings across Tennessee this year, adding to a current inventory of 3,000.
