Monday Roundup: Accenture, Amdocs, MEF, Huawei

Accenture has added to its telecommunications expertise this morning. They announced the acquisition of Northstream, a consultancy based in Stockholm, Sweden that focuses on network service providers and vendors. The deal gives Accenture additional talent based in northern Europe just in time to help out with 5G, IoT, and the rest of the industry’s ongoing rollouts.

Amdocs has lined up a high profile customer for its NFV capabilities, and by high I mean altitude. The satellite operator SES has selected the company’s NFV orchestration solution to power network services from its MEO and GEO satellites.
