A few interesting items on the metro and regional fiber front to close out the week, and who knows, maybe the winter too? We can hope.
Dobson Fiber has made an inorganic move, announcing the acquisition of Pinnacle Communications. Pinnacle operates a fiber network in western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma, a footprint that partially overlaps Dobson’s own footprint. Following the deal, Dobson’s network now covers 4,500 route miles in three states and can reach some 35K business locations.
