A few interesting news items before weeks’ end:
Windstream Enterprise has added another dimension to its managed services portfolio. They are now offering Fortinet-based LAN services, enabling them to offer better network integration options to customers across multiple verticals. It’s part of Windstream’s ongoing portfolio expansion in the enterprise space, which is using more than a little Fortinet technology.
Empire Access has found a couple new markets to expand its FTTH reach into. They will be deploying network in Endicott and Endwell, two towns along the Susquehanna River west of Binghamton. Empire Access has been adding new markets across upstate New York and northern Pennsylvania over the last year or two.
