EXA Infrastructure and EllaLink are teaming up for a new transatlantic service between South America and Europe. The two companies have complementary footprints, and by working together they have pieced together a diverse route between the two continents.
EllaLink’s new cable connects Fortaleza, Brazil with Sines, Portugal, where it now hooks directly into EXA’s pan-European fiber. The combined route spans some 9,120km and bypasses North America. Meanwhile, EllaLink and EXA are also collaborating on the Olisipo project connecting the main data centers and landing stations in Portugal itself.
