Two FTTH projects, a middle mile upgrade, and some managed security:
Empire Access says it is taking its FTTH buildout to Vestal NY. They plan to bring fiber access to 2K homes and businesses in the city, a town of just less than 30K which sits along the Susquehanna River. Vestal is west of Binghamton in the state’s southern Tier.
Ritter Communications has completed an expansion build in Ripley TN. The $900K project makes XGS-PON technology to power its FTTH offerings in Ripley, a town of about 8,000 people which sits to the northwest of Memphis. Ritter started turning up customers in December.
