A bunch of items from the metro and regional side of things, plus one DCI solution rollout:

Great Plains Communications is taking more of its regional intercity network to higher speeds. They are extending their 400G reach to include two new routes: Omaha-Minneapolis/St.Paul and Omaha-Chicago. In Omaha the endpoint is 1623 Farnam, in Minnesota it is 511 11th Ave, and in Chicago it is the everpresent 350 Cermak.

Comcast Business picked up some regional restaurant connectivity out in California. They are providing a combination of internet and cellular backup for Uchiwa Ramen, which operates locations in both San Rafael and Emeryville. These days restaurants’ POS systems are increasingly dependent on good, reliable bandwidth.
