Everstream has detailed a bit more of its network expansion work back in its home turf in northeastern Ohio. The Midwestern fiber operator says it has added 620 route miles to its network in the Cleveland metro area during 2019. It’s part of a broad $300M investment that Everstream has been making into its infrastructure that has taken them to three new metros (Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Columbus), boosted its route mileage by 30%, and doubled its employee headcount. Cleveland, of course, is perhaps Everstream’s oldest major market, pre-dating the acquisitions that transformed them into a regional fiber power.
