FiberLight has won some more business for its broad fiber footprint in Texas. The wireless ISP Nextlink Internet will be leveraging FiberLight’s 100Gbps lit core and related services as it expands its presence. They are hooking up another 70 towers with fiber and boosting their core capacity in the state to match. They were already using a 10Gbps network ring from FiberLight powered by Ciena gear. The project was partly enabled by CAF II FCC funding.
