The Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE) today announce that award‐winning actor, comedian, and author Patton Oswalt will host The 71st Annual Golden Reel Awards. The event will take place on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles.
Making his second appearance as host of the MPSE Golden Reel Awards, Oswalt pointed to the indispensable contribution of sound editors to entertainment media. “As a film buff, getting to highlight the ‘hidden artisans’ who create movie memories as important as any moving image, is a joy for me,” Oswalt said. “I can’t wait for this year’s MPSE Golden Reel Awards.”
