Lots of interesting items going on around the world this week:
DE-CIX is taking aim at the interconnection landscape in the Democratic Republic of Congo. They have teamed up with the service provider United S.A. and the NGO ‘Internet pour tous’ to announce that the Africa Congo Internet Exchange is live in the capital Kinshasa. They plan to interconnect networks from countries adjacent to the DRC as well, with interconnection back to DE-CIX infrastructure in southern Europe.
