Zayo has polished off a dark fiber network back in its home turf of Colorado. They have completed a 600-route mile metro network for the Denver Public Schools, including 50 route miles of new build, connecting up some 132 schools around the city via multiple fiber rings. The build boosts capacity for DPS schools by some 500%, enabling both educational resources for students as well as security initiatives.
