A new Carrier ENUM model from TNS is promising to help carriers reduce call setup times, resolve route lookup queries faster and relieve the headache associated with complex data management processes.
TNS’ Shared Registry Carrier ENUM is a hybrid solution that combines the benefits of a shared multi-tenant registry, private ENUM and a full national number portability database. Participating operators can resolve queries quicker within one shared registry rather than using the standard GSMA distributed model that reaches out to the National Root ENUM service.
