Long Island Hosts Wireless Symposium and Exhibition

More widely known as the cradle of aviation, Long Island also has a long history with wireless technology.

That history spans the transatlantic wireless towers built in 1912 for the German Telefunken Company in West Sayville, the Wardenclyffe Tower in Shoreham designed by inventor Nikola Tesla, and the wide range of wireless companies and distributors that still reside on the island today.
