Worth noting from the start of this week: three bits of metro fiber news and one subsea upgrade:
Consolidated Communications is building out some new fiber in southeastern Texas. The target is the community of Willis, which lies about an hour to the north of Houstonin Montgomery County. Consolidated is in the process of adding 65 miles of new fiber to the city’s downtown business district and passing through the planned communtiy of the Woodland Hills north of Conroe.
