Northern Virginia now has more conduit available to it. Dark Fiber & Infrastructure announced yesterday that it has completed a new 22-conduit loop through Ashburn’s ‘Data Center Alley’. The route uses VDOT rights-of-way to provide new options for pulling fiber into a range of facilities. DF&I launched last year when it purchased the assets of USA Fiber and focuses on infrastructure in the northern Virginia and DC metro areas.
Avelacom is taking its infrastructure into Ireland for the first time. The low latency specialist has selected Interxion’s Dublin data center for a new point of presence.
