Ciena has won some business over in the Philippines this week. Yesterday they announced that Converge ICT is deploying their tunable 400G WaveLogic Ai coherent optical solution in the Manila metro area. Also part of the deployment are Ciena’s CDC and CDC-F ROADMs, Liquid Spectrum analytics, and MCP domain controller. The upgrades will enable Converge ICT to meet the ever rising appetite for bandwidth.
Seaborn Networks has hired itself a new CEO. Effective back on October 1, industry veteran Steve Orlando has taken the helm of the submarine cable operator.
