Colt has some new hyperscale plans for Osaka. The company’s data center division has acquired a site in the Japanese mega-city upon which it will build its third hyperscale data center in the country. Their other two are at the Inzai campus just east of Tokyo.
SES Networks now has more infrastructure to play with. The satellite network operator had four new O3b satellites launched into middle earth orbit yesterday. That gives them 20 so far in the O3b constellation, which targets cruise lines as well as the oil & gas industry with fiber-like bandwidth options.
