Because the law won’t stop for COVID-19, Cisco took it upon itself to develop two Webex offerings that will help courtrooms and legislatures around the world modernize their processes and allow for remote hearings during the pandemic… and beyond.
Cisco revealed the products — Webex Legislate and Connected Justice — last week at its virtual partner summit. Webex Legislate, in early field trials, is a purpose-built cloud application that provides a secure video conferencing window into legislative chambers or parliament floors, Cisco said. Meanwhile, Cisco Connected Justice is a real-time video conferencing and information-sharing platform that mimics a live courtroom.
