T-Mobile US and Sprint are both touting success connected to pre-orders of Apple’s latest iPhone 7 devices.
T-Mobile US claims pre-order activity for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus models surpassed previous launches at the carrier, with last Friday setting a single-day sales record for the carrier, and pre-orders between Friday and Monday “up nearly 4x compared to the next most popular iPhone.” The carrier is offering a trade-in promotion for the latest iPhone devices allowing customers to receive a base iPhone 7 32 gigabyte device for free in exchange for an iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6S or 6S Plus.
