Let’s continue our examination of enterprise communications requirements based on usage profiles. In my first post in this series, I looked at the usage profile for field sales and services roles and found that communications for that group is best provided by mobile devices and function-specific business applications.
Now, let’s look at the production usage profile. Workers in this category represent 49% of all jobs in the U.S., based on data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Of course, that will vary by enterprise and vertical industry, but will likely be a large portion of most enterprises’ workforces.
