Google’s Dunant cable project has some big name collaboration lined up. Orange and Telxius are working together on terrestrial backhaul on both ends of the submarine cable system. Dunant is expected to go live later this year, spanning 6,600km between Virginia and the French Atlantic coast. Orange will leverage its CLS at Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, while Telxius will use its CLS in Virginia Beach.
Speaking of Orange, Orange Business Services has some new plans for the customer premises. They have teamed up with Ekinops and Dell Technologies for a new uCPE solution.
