EdgeConneX and Rackspace are teaming up to bring the hybrid cloud further out to the edge. The arrangement pairs EdgeConnex’s edge data center footprint with Rackspace’s cloud and managed services, taking aim at a wide swath of the enterprise market. EdgeConneX’s footprint now includes 40+ edge data centers in some 30 markets on 3 continents, and cloud access has been a big focus of their efforts lately.
