A couple expansion projects, and upgrade, and a new solution:
DC BLOX’s plans to build a cable landing station on the coast of South Carolina got real this week. The company has officially broken ground on the 15MW project in Myrtle Beach. If all goes well, the CLS will be available in Q2 of 2023, while the fiber backhaul system to the site that they are working on will be ready a couple quarters after that. The CLS will be connected to five pre-positioned ocean bore pipes, clearly aiming to establish the site for future subsea connectivity projects.
