Epsilon has a new interconnection partner in the Europe. They have hooked up their Infiny platform to NL-ix, providing access to the IXP’s western European infrastructure. NL-ix’s footprint occupies a triangle with corners in London, Cophenhagen, and Marseille, with its biggest node unsurprisingly in Amsterdam.
ADVA has demonstrated SDN control of a 600G transmission at the OFC conference. Using the company’s FSP 3000 TeraFlex terminal in a DCI context, they showed the ability to monitor the condition of a fiber link and adapt speed and modulation in response.
