Ciena has picked up a customer for its Waveserver Ai platform over in Europe. The hosting and cloud solutions provider team.blue Denmark will be using Ciena’s platform to power its metro DCI network needs. The upgrade enables team.blue Denmark to upgrade its connectivity to 8x100G over their existing dark fiber infrastructure, with plenty more in reserve.
ADVA has won some business for its Oscilloquartz solution. TOYO Corporation is using the optical cesium atomic clock for precision timing and position in its test and measurement systems. It’s ADVA’s first such deployment in Japan, and another step toward seeing the technology applied toward 5G-enabled applications and such.
