In a significant federal contract victory, Verizon yesterday announced a new contract with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Verizon Public Sector was awarded an Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions task order to modernize and expand the FBI’s network infrastructure and the data and voice solutions that run upon it.
The EIS task order has a net potential value of over $400M in revenue. The FBI will be integrating directly with Verizon’s IT department team, making sure network availability and continuity of services are maximized.
