There was a bit of M&A worth noting on the testing side of things this week. EXFO has announced the acqusition of Taiwan-based InOpticals Inc., which specialized in sampling oscilloscopes, BERTs, and other testing instruments aimed at 400G/800G. The deal, which is expected to close by the end of October, will expand EXFO’s portfolio as well as its potential market share.
