The international private equity firm Mexcap has found some more fiber to invest in. Mexcap has made an equity investment in InnerCity FiberNet (ICFN) down in Texas. ICFN operates a 350-route-mile fiber footprint across the Dallas-Ft. Worth metro area that hooks up some 57 key locations. They also have a few rings in place in Phoenix, Arizona. The recapitalization will provide ICFN with the resources to expand its presence further in both markets.
