Some ESG progress, a new edge data center, a new partnership in southeast Asia, and a new name in US fiber emerges:
euNetworks has been working on its sustainability efforts. Having committed to being carbon net zero by 2040 they have developed a Network Construction Carbon Tool to help track greenhouse emissions on a project level. euNetworks completed a long term sustainability-linked infrastructure refinancing last winter.
Proximity Data Centers has opened a 10th regional edge facility in the UK. The new data center is in Milton Keynes to the northwest of London along the M1 and features 48,000 square feet of space and 3MW of power. From there they hope to better support the markets of central England. Proximity has plans for another 10 such locations in the next year and a half.
