Global Cloud Xchange and Sparkle have extended their partnership under the Atlantic. GCX operates the Flag Atlantic cable system, and will be providing an additional terabyte of capacity, bolstering Sparkle’s transatlantic capacity. GCX announced plans over the winter to emerge from the Reliance bankruptcy soap opera as an independent company and brought in Rory Cole as interim CEO.
Aligned Energy has some more plans for northern Virginia. They have kicked off their phase 2 expansion at the company’s data center campus in Ashburn.
