123Net continues to expand its reach up in Michigan. Yesterday they added a new fixed wireless PoP in Romulus, north of Detroit Metropolitan Airport and their 57th such node. From there they will be able to offer 1Gbps to businesses in Romulus, Wayne, and Westland. 123Net blends fiber, fixed wireless, and colo to serve the Michigan marketplace.

Cascadia FiberNet is looking to add another fiber option up in the Pacific Northwest. Starting in March they will be constructing a new 864-strand cable between the Harbour Center in Vancouver and the Westin Building Exchange in Seattle.
