Crosslake Fibre’s project over in Europe took another step forward this week. The company has brought in the Swedish firm Hexatronic Cables & Interconnect Systems AB to supply the actual high-fiber-count cable. The project will cross the English channel via a new route designed to offer lower latency between Slough and Paris. The marine survey was completed this year, the funding from Tiger Infrastructure Partners is in place, and the RFS date is expected to be in Q4/2021.
