Steve Biucchi has joined specialist software company, Marquis, as EMEA sales director, to increase the company’s reach into post-production and broadcast markets in this territory. Working closely with Marquis’ managing director, Paul Glasgow, Biucchi will focus closely on integration services, disaster recovery and cloud workflows, alongside the company’s intelligent archive software solutions, for the next stage of the company’s expansion.
Biucchi joins with more than 25 years’ media industry experience, most recently from Tektronix/Telestream, with his most recent projects including the BBC Cardiff relocation to Central Square and Discovery/Eurosport’s IP transformation. Biucchi said of the appointment, “I am very excited to be working with the great team at Marquis, which has huge experience in helping clients simplify their workflows using Marquis software.”
