GTT has won some US government business. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) which handles the contracts for DISA, has picked GTT’s transatlantic 100G wavelengths. GTT’s transatlantic infrastructure comes from its acquisition of Hibernia two winters ago – has it been that long already?

Epsilon and NJFX have teamed up on a nextgen transatlantic bypass route. Epsilon has activated the new network route at NJFX’s facility on the New Jersey shore, offering direct, SDN-powered connectivity between Europe’s bandwidth destinations and the data center megapolis Ashburn down in northern Virginia.
