Cable ONE has made another inorganic move out in the Midwest and central South. The cable MSO has entered into an agreement to buy Fidelity Communications for $525.9M in cash. Missouri-based Fidelity provides similar services across cable franchises in Arkansas, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri Oklahoma, and Texas. Last fall Cable ONE also announced the purchase of Clearwave out in southern Illinois.
Fujitsu has won a convert in the data center interconnection space. West Corporation has deployed the company’s 1FINITY hardware and Virtuora software platforms on a live 200G DCI network hooking up facilities in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, and Phoenix.
