UFD has announced a major customer for its newly launched infrastructure. An unnamed ‘global hyperscaler’ is using 12 fiber pairs on the buildout, connecting two of its major US carrier hotels in Manhattan and northern New Jersey, where UFD has built out some 60 metro route miles. Earlier this month UFD completed its New Jersey-Northern Virginia longhaul route of course.
Telia Carrier has been busy lighting dark fiber on the east coast of the USA. They have added two new diverse DWDM routes between northern New Jersey and northern Virginia.
