Liquid continues to invest in its pan-African footprint, and this week launched another route from the South Atlantic to the Indian Ocean. It’s a 3,800km route between Mombasa, Kenya and Muanda in the DRC, passing through Uganda and Rwanda along the way. It complements the one they put in place a couple years ago that takes a more southern route through Zambia. Reliable terrestrial connectivity within Africa has historically been quite rare, with infrastructure focused along the coast fed by subsea cables.
