Telia Carrier has added a new PoP to its network up in the Alps. The global backbone operator now has a presence in colozüri.ch, a carrier neutral facility in Zurich. Telia has seen bandwidth demand on the route between Zurich and Basel and is moving to better satisfy it. This is the company’s third PoP in Zurich.
Orange Business Services has picked up some SD-WAN business in the Middle East. Majid Al Futtaim Retail has selected Orange Business Services’ Flexible SD-WAN to hook up the 250 Carrefour stores it operates across some 38 markets in the region.
