Orange Business Services’ IoT capabilities will be getting a mobile workout. Lynk & Co, which is a joint venture between Geely Holding, Geely Auto Group and Volvo Car Group, has launched its 01 SUV, an always on and connected car that is built upon its IoT managed global connectivity. It’s not just connectivity for those in the car, the vehicle is designed as a membership-based vehicle that you don’t actually have to purchase in the traditional sense. Lynk says three clubs will be open initially in Amsterdam, Antwerp and Gothenburg, with Berlin and other citieis to follow.
