NJFX has a new partner down on the Jersey Shore. The European Ethernet Exchange NetIX will be entering the US with a new point of presence at NJFX’s cable landing station colo facility. With its nexus of submarine cables, NJFX certainly makes sense as a location for NetIX’s interconnection platform.

A new cloud networking software player emerged from stealth yesterday with a substantial war chest. DriveNets has announced a $110M round of financing led by Bessemer Venture Partners and Pitango Growth. DriveNets’ Network Cloud targets network operations, running on white box hardware and leveraging virtualization to the hilt.
