Cologix has tapped Ciena’s Blue Planet SDN technology to boost its ecosystem. They have launched a new SDN-powered connectivity platform, called Cologix Access Marketplace, which offers real-time cloud on-ramps. Initially those on-ramps will be to Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure, with other clouds to come later.
Sabey Data Centers has won some new colo business this week. Packet will be expanding its footprint into Sabey’s Ashburn and Seattle facilities, and plans to be operational next week.
