With the market for 5G devices set to grow exponentially in the next 18 months, there are several complex challenges ahead for the OEMs. Chief among these is the ability to solve the integration of the whole 5G cellular system design into their devices, from the antenna to the modem, supporting cellular innovation as it emerges. This needs to be done while still maximizing device performance, thereby optimizing power consumption without compromising overall device design or cost.
