SD-WAN adoption remains a hot trend nowadays. Based on various feedback received from the field, many enterprises are at the stage of assessing and trial of SD-WAN. One of major puzzles to the C-level executives, however, is about how to position SD-WAN adoption in the big picture of their firm’s digital transformation (DX) process.
While SD-WAN is definitely part of DX from the standpoint of networking, bandwidth, and connectivity, DX also has to cover the firm’s strategy for cloud, data center, security, IoT, mobility, Big Data, etc.
