NTT Moves into Phoenix

NTT has announced plans for a new data center campus in the southwestern US. The Japanese-based global service provider is moving into the Phoenix, Arizona metro area in force.

The new data center campus will be on some 102 acres of land the Elliot Road Technology Corridor in Mesa, 30 minutes or so east of Phoenix proper. When fully built out, NTT’s new campus will feature 7 data centers with a total of 240MW of critical IT load powering 1.5M square feet of space. The first facility will consist of 6x6MW vaults spanning 126,000 square feet of floor space and available power of 36MW.
