Four data center moves in four geographies to catch up with:
AMS-IX and Equinix’s MDXi have teamed up for a new African internet exchange. They have launched AMS-IX Lagos in Nigeria, leveraging AMS-IX’s technology on MDXi’s physical infrastructure and commercial presence in the city. They will launch with 25 connected networks, some coming over from WAF-IX.
American Tower’s CoreSite has revealed an interesting colo tenant out in Los Angeles. The post-production services company Arcadian will be using CoreSite’s infrastructure to support the conversion of digital assets into streamable content. CoreSite operates two locations at One Wilshire as well as another expansion location.
